I finally survived the semester and managed to make it through my last final! I'm pretty sure I was suffering from a bad case of weddingitis and summeritis (it's like senioritis for those who are unsure) considering I fluffed my way through 20 points worth of questions and only half way looked at another 20 points worth of questions, but what can a professor expect when he gives an essay test over quality initiatives in health care? Really, all I had on my brain was the idea that I could actually come home and watch a movie! A real, live, pop culture movie! And cook dinner. And read my latest issue of Bon Appetite! And read a fun book! And work on pictures! And go to bed early. And...yeah, I might have tried to overdo it last night.
Meanwhile though, the wedding is coming along. Less than 5 weeks at this point. The bachelor party was survived by all based on the tales that I'm hearing. I ran into one member of the party Sunday night, so I know that at least Brad and Eric made it home in one piece...though I'm told the wallets may be a little thinner for all involved.
We're still without a minister. I'm really baffled by this. You watch all these old movies and read all these stories about people that just go down and get a minitster for a wedding. Why am I having such trouble with this? I think it's a sign we should have eloped. Or maybe it's a sign that I'm too picky. Or maybe it's a sign that you shouldn't rely on family friends to be significant part of the wedding lest they drop out at the last minute. Whatever the case, it's starting to get a little stressful....ok, not starting. It IS!
